And so ends another year. Not one of the best years of my life, but not one of the worst either. I definately do NOT mourn it's ending.
So, how, you may ask, do I plan on making 2011 any better? Well, for starters, I really don't believe in all those "Resolutions". I have made hundreds of "New Years Resolutions" over the years....& where are they now? Every single one of them has been broken...obviously...and usually by the 3rd or the 5th, but definately by the 15th. All of my accomplishments were not done on January 1st...or even in the month of January. But here we go again... ... ... ... ... ...
my 2o11 New Years Resolutions
1) to get a job ~~ this being broke is really for the birds ! ! ! I am going to honestly put two good feet forward on this one.
2) to do my best to NOT yell so much at my family ~~ these are the people whom I love the very most in this world...they are the ones I should be treating the very BEST ! ! !
3) to find & actively attend & participate in a "good" church ~~ I have been really lazy about finding a good church, (actually, I belong to 2 "good" churches; but 1 is too far on my current income, & the other isn't comfortable enough for my Honey...& I want a church that my whole family feels comfortable & welcome in)
Well, I'm not going to over burden my "to do" list here. That's probably been my biggest downfall in the past. Ya know what I mean?
Well, (I notice that I start alot of paragraphs off with that word..."well")... oh well ! !
Well, it's New Years Eve at 8:20pm (at this very moment) & I have promised two grandchildren a New Years Eve Party .... we are going to learn how to play a new game ~~ Monopoly Jr ... then we are going to drink some sparkling grape "champagne" (non-alcoholic...of course) ... then at mid-night we are going to go outside with noise makers & screaming "Happy New Year" & honking the car horns ... then hopefully they'll be tired & go to sleep within a matter of minutes ... I'll need my quiet time by then.
